Krakow Nativity Scenes Competition. A reference to the situation on the Polish-Belarusian border
The aim of the event is to select the best attitude, but most of all the behavior and attitude of the citizen. In 2018, the competition was included on the UNESCO list of intangible human heritage. After the sound of the bugle call from the St. Mary’s Tower, a colorful parade began, accompanied by a folk band from Bronowice. All works hit to the Krzysztofory Palace, where the jury will judge them. The creators showed a lot of creativity and not enough in the means and materials. Among the Users of Nativity Scenes, there are, among others, those fenced with barbed copper wire mesh, directly tied to the border on the Polish-Belarusian border.
