The World Champions for the 2020 and 2021 seasons will receive their prizes at the prestigious FIM Ceremony in Monaco. Unfortunately, the event planned for last year could not take place due to the COVID-19 pandemic. This therefore means that the 2021 edition will be an opportunity to reward the protagonists of the last two seasons. The ceremony can be followed live on FIM social networks on Saturday 4 December, with the kick-off scheduled at 22:00 CET (GMT + 1).
In total, six WorldSBK Paddock Champions will receive their awards, starting with Toprak (Pata Yamaha with BRIXX WorldSBK) and Jonathan Rea (Kawasaki Racing Team WorldSBK), respectively crowned in 2021 and 2020 in WorldSBK.
In WorldSSP, Andrea Locatelli (now Pata Yamaha rider with BRIXX WorldSBK) will receive his trophy for his incredible 2020 season and Dominique Aegerter (Ten Kate Racing Yamaha) for this year 2021. In WorldSSP300, Adrian Huertas (MTM Kawasaki) and Jeffrey Buis (now GAP MOTOZOO Racing by Puccetti) will be present.
Double WorldSBK Champion James Toseland will host the ceremony from Monaco. You can follow it LIVE on the page Facebook of the FIM and on FIM-Awards.com.
