The corona situation is causing more problems for our southern neighbors. For example, in Flanders alone, more than a hundred schools have been closed due to infections and the NMBS company is canceling extra trains due to staff failure. The healthcare sector is also sounding the alarm because of the high pressure on general practitioners and hospitals.

Flemish Prime Minister Jan Jambon wants to call during the corona meeting to cancel all indoor events until mid-December. Federal Minister Frank Vandenbroucke (Public Health) is in favor of extra measures in education.
