A man was arrested for murder 22 years ago

Budapest – The Buda Central District Court arrested a man on Thursday on suspicion of a pre-planned homicide against several people, the Metropolitan Court told MTI. The decision is not final.

According to the report, the suspect was killed on 2 February 1999 by several shots in an XV. in a district restaurant and an injury to a person with a permanent disability while fleeing.

A foreign citizen living abroad who, although his property and income conditions are clear, does not have a permanent registered place of residence and employment in Hungary, does not have a regular legal income. Abroad, a criminal case is pending against him for the current complaint. The statutory weight of the charge is outstanding, and in the case of proof, even life imprisonment can be imposed.

The prosecutor’s office ordered the suspect’s arrest due to the risk of absconding, hiding, and making it difficult to prove. And the court ordered the man’s arrest for a month, until Jan. 2.

The court based its decision on the fact that the risk of absconding and concealment is monitored by all this and by the conspiracy.
