AN Lisbon Shop at Terreiro do Paço today reopened doors with new visiting experiences and more than 5,000 articles, many specifically referring to the destination.
The creation of a lounge inside the store, which includes the projection of images of Lisbon and a listening point for music, is one of the highlights of this reopening. This proposal transforms the space into a true mandatory stopover, promoting a meeting between people, arts and culture.
From tiles to urban design, from music to books or from crafts to textiles, there are more than 5,000 products that take visitors to discover Lisbon. The articles are now organized by themes, namely gourmet, jewellery, ceramics, soap and textiles, with the aim of better exposing the diversity that the store has to offer.
In addition to the dynamization and reorganization of the space, the Lisboa Shop maintains a direct connection to the tourist office at Terreiro do Paço, allowing for better articulation with tourist information services, as well as the optimization of this support network.
The remodeling of Lisboa Loja also included a project to change the existing lighting, designed by the architect James Silva Dias. The intervention involved a new design, arrangement and improvement of direct and indirect light, proposing to emphasize the spatial quality of the vaults and their reflective role in the store’s lighting.
The Lisbon Shop at Terreiro do Paço is open every day, from 10 am to 8 pm.
