Lavrov: Russia has no doubts that Russophobic statements will be made at the OSCE Ministerial Council – Politics
MOSCOW, December 1. / TASS /. Russia has practically no doubts that during the meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers (CFM) is being held in Stockholm on December 2-3, a number of Russophobic statements will be made, but Moscow will call for dialogue. Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov made this statement on Wednesday at state hour in the Federation Council.
“I have almost no doubt that in the general discussion that will be held tomorrow in Stockholm at the foreign affairs conference, a number of such ultimatum, rhetorical, aggressive statements of a Russophobic nature in the majority will be heard, in which to change their policy in the grand scheme of things,” he said …
“Naturally, we will invite them to dialogue, but there are some boundaries,” the minister added.
He noted that Russian President Vladimir Putin has repeatedly stressed the importance of the dialogue, following which generally acceptable agreements will be reached, ensuring the collective security and security of each of the participants. “We are ready for this. Not so, but sometimes, listening to Western speakers, this is created,” Lavrov said.
