Portugal registered, this Tuesday, 4670 cases of covid-19 and 17 deaths caused by the virus. It has been almost ten months since the country had such a high number of cases: the last time was on February 5th (the bulletin of the 6th), when 6132 infections were announced.
According to the epidemiological bulletin of the Directorate-General for Health (DGS), released this Wednesday, the total number of kills thus rises to 18,458 and that of infected rises to 1,151,919, since the beginning of the pandemic.
The total number of inpatients rose this Tuesday. The situation report indicates that there are now 841 more patients with covid-19 in this situation, eight more than in the previous update. In intensive care there was no change, remaining 116 patients.
