“December 1 is the day when we not only enjoy the community of history, culture and language with Romania, but it is also the time to look with hope in the future, to all the achievements we will have together from now on on our journey common. According to Deputy Prime Minister Popescu, not all governments in Chisinau appreciated Romania’s friendship.
“Perhaps not all our leaders knew or wanted to learn from the friendship that Romania has offered us unconditionally over time, regardless of the political circumstances in Chisinau or Bucharest. However, for the citizens of the Republic of Moldova, Romania has always been an example to follow in terms of society’s involvement in democracy and in the values โโof the rule of law.
