Cracow. A new performance at the Mumerus Theater
On December 11, the Mumerus Theater invites you to the premiere of Wiesław Hołdys’ play “Seed of god”.
“Seed of the God of War” about a show set in a waiting room where people have new, better times. For success in love, for soothing torn nerves. The action takes place before, during and after one of the world wars – in the form of looking for a new side in your own way, and tame a new repair or at least supplement it. In the background, from time to time you can hear the music of Mahler’s music, which, however, twists and deforms, because his music has ended along with the old world.
About the spectacle from feeling the world together. In return for frequency changes, images of many frequent realities woven out of manic obsessions, with icons of fears or hysterical euphoria caused by alcoholism. Along with the images of different realities, the space of the performance also changes. But the context here is still the most difficult experience, which refutes the current one, the sharp social caesura between the old and the new – the war and what preceded it and what came after it.
