25,238 San Marino citizens completed the primary immunization cycle receiving the second dose or the single dose, equal to 83.47% of the resident vaccinable population. And over 4 thousand people have already received the booster dose.
4000 doses of Sputnik light vaccine were acquired for boosters: it is a vaccine a viral vector authorized in Russia and other countries, including the Republic of San Marino, but which is not currently authorized by the European Medicines Agency. or by the equivalent American body (FDA) and not even by the Italian AIFA.
The methods of administering the booster doses with the Sputnik Light vaccine will only be established in the next few days, it remains confirmed, what has already been established by the ISS Vaccines Commission, namely that Sputnik Light will be used at the moment for boosters in those who have and have completed primary vaccination with Sputnik V.
