Bristol Palace: The developer has completed the renovation
Today, in the original building, built at the end of the 19th century according to the design of the architect Miroslav Stöhr as a hotel, there are offices and apartments on the lower floors of the commercial space on the lower floors. In the basement there are garages with 15 parking spaces.
Consultations with conservationists
Martin Klán, a member of the Board of Directors of Amádeus Real and the General Manager of the project, stated that the three blocks of the Bristol Palace had been approved. “Among other things, it offers a total of 31 short-term rental apartments, for which we record high demand. From the commercial space on the ground floor and basement, there is, for example, a wine bar, cafe or bistro. We are currently negotiating with another tenant, “he said.
According to him, the complexity of modernization lay in the sensitive restoration of the original historical elements. “All modifications, including, for example, the replacement of the original casement windows.” we consulted conservationists for their faithful copies, who all the time made sure that the historical value of the house was not violated, “added Klán.
At the end of the 1930s, the hotel was connected to a neighboring apartment building and the whole complex was functionally adapted for shared use. After the war, the use of buildings changed, after 1989, underground hall garages were built and interiors adapted to the needs of the then tenants.
The development company Amádeus Real concentrates its business activities in Prague, with the exception of Pilsen, where it is preparing the construction of a new district in the AMESIDE project, and Ústí nad Labem. The company used to operate mainly shopping centers, which it then owned, in the centers of large cities. In Prague, he is currently preparing, among other things, the reconstruction of the Máj department store. The company is owned by the Klán family. The company was founded in the 1990s by Václav Klán senior.
