The drug supermarkets in Rome, those of Tor Bella Monaca and San Basilio, never stop. The continuous, almost daily arrests and the constant turnover of the hustlers testify to this. The investigations
To discover their turnover, at the end of an investigation that lasted for the whole of 2020, the staff of the Investigation Team of the III Fidene – Serpentara District, in close synergy with staff of the III Nomentano Group of the Roma Capitale Local Police, coordinated by the Public Prosecutor of the Republic of Rome. A painstaking work also made up of wiretapping, environmental and video surveillance that allowed investigators to seize a kilo of cocaine, 20 grams of heroin, 1.3 kilos of hashish and 120,000 euros in cash. An investigation which, over the course of last year, also saw a series of arrests and simultaneous kidnappings in Montesacro, San Basilio, Borghesiana and Casal del Marmo. Testimony, according to the investigators, that the turnover set up was well branched.
The tour of “Il Barattolo”
This is how the group of the ‘Jar’ operated in Tor Bella Monaca, multi-prejudiced and helped by three other men, its faithful allies. the 40-year-old from Rome is seriously suspected of having placed various types of drugs on the market according to customer requests, as evidenced by the seizures carried out. On 23 July 2020, for example, an accomplice of the ‘Jar’ was arrested because he was found in possession of 200 grams of cocaine, transported inside his car on behalf of one of the 40-year-old’s loyal allies. On 9 September of the same year, a woman, used as a ‘retta’, that is a keeper of the drug, which she hid in the house, where 63 grams of cocaine and 1.3 kilos of hashish were found.
Relations with San Basilio

The investigation thus led to the issuing by the GIP at the Court of Rome, at the request of the local Public Prosecutor’s Office, of 9 precautionary measures, of which 7 precautionary custody in prison and two under house arrest.
