The inmates of the “Tan Hill Inn”
The weekend, in UK, it is almost a ritual to go to the pub and maybe drink with friends a beer or a any alcoholic. The excuse is that keep warm, especially if there is snow outside. A nice evening, you shine just enough, but surely happy, yes back home. For the 61 patrons of the “Tan Hill Inn” famous Richmond Pub, last weekend there was no usual return to their homes due to one blizzard who has it submerged in snow blocking the entrance door and therefore the exit door of the room.
Friday night there were 61 and all to hear a cover band by Oasis. But none of them would have imagined returning to their home alone, so to speak, Sunday evening when I finally am help arrived. Fortunately the to eat it wasn’t a problem, the Tan Hill manager had stocked up, the same can’t be said for beer. In the sense that the escort had been made, but given the forced stay, it had arrived running out for the many drinks. The beer therefore ran freely, we can say, they are gone hundreds of liters, but luckily there is also a lot of good food available. Then on Sunday evening everything was back to normal, and then everyone at home in time for the …. party !!!
Oh I forgot: the group also thought about organizing a new meeting for next year.
For the record the pub is in a prime location Dales National Park, In the Yorkshire which is the highest d‘England, it is found at 528 meters above sea level.
