San Marino. The discussion on the budget begins in the Council
The presentation of the 2022 budget was at the center of today’s council meeting, which opened in the communications paragraph, and then interrupted it and started, as per the agenda, the debate in the first reading of the bill presented by the Secretary of State for the Finances Marco Gatti.
The Secretary read the data of the substantial report on the measure which, among other things, sets the ‘time schedule’ of the country’s structural reforms, which began in the course of next year. The financial year 2022 closes with a surplus of approximately 80 million euros. Over the years, efforts have been made to reduce the structural budgetary imbalance “following the reforms that will be implemented”, explains the Secretary of State.
