The department has developed a draft resolution with a list of faults and conditions on the basis of which the operation of such vehicles will be prohibited. So, prohibit their use in case of brake malfunctions or steering play, which for snowmobiles and swamp vehicles should not be higher than 15 degrees.
In addition, the prohibition of operation will also be in the event that the brake lights do not light up during braking, and the sound signal is faulty, the exhaust system is faulty, the headlights do not light, there is no license plate or the level of harmful substances in the exhaust is exceeded.
The press service of the Ministry of Agriculture told the publication that the project is under consideration by the subcommittee of the government commission on administrative reform. Development of a new list of prohibitions on the functions of the “On self-propelled vehicles and other types of equipment” mode. It will come into force in July 2022. The document was created for agricultural machinery, but now it will also affect the owners of snowmobiles, ATVs, ATVs, and buggies.
Earlier it became known that in the first half of 2021, sales of agricultural machinery increased sharply on the domestic market in Russia – by 1.5 times. The indicator increased by 43.3 percent to 93.9 billion rubles. The most actively produced were plows and agricultural tractors, sprayers, seeders and grain cleaning machines. Total sales amounted to 94 billion rubles.
