“Gain places in the ranking”
The vice-captain of AS Monaco was present at a press conference before the match of the 16th day of Ligue 1 in Angers, this Wednesday (7 p.m.). Extracts.
Held in check by Strasbourg (1-1) this Sunday, despite several clear opportunities, AS Monaco will strive to return to success in Ligue 1 this Wednesday (7 p.m.) during its trip to Angers, on the occasion of the 16th day. Before this meeting against 6e in the standings, Axel Disasi appeared in front of the media. Here are the main statements of the Monegasque vice-captain.
In each match, our objective is to take all three points and it is true that we are disappointed with the result against Strasbourg, so we will have to make up for it against Angers. It’s not an easy team to face and it’s always difficult to win there.

The 4-2-3-1 system
It is true that we are experimenting with a new game system, so we have to find automatisms. We work daily in training to create these new automatisms and be efficient on weekends. But we adapt to all systems and to what the coach asks of us.
Central hinge rotation
We are all quality players, so it’s up to us to adapt very quickly. We have been lucky to be able to work together for two years, so in terms of automation there is no need to worry. We play regularly, so there is bound to be a turnover that is necessary. We have a quality group, there is competition in our position where we only have internationals, and it is this competition that drives us forward.
The progression of Jean Lucas
Against Real Sociedad (2-1) and Strasbourg (1-1), he had two big games. He has a lot of qualities, he comes from Olympique Lyonnais where there is also a lot of competition. We need everyone for this season and he is one of the players we can rely on.
The meetings against Angers and Metz
In each match, our objective is to take all three points and it is true that we are disappointed with the result against Strasbourg, so we will have to make up for it against Angers. It’s not an easy team to face and it’s always difficult to win there. We want to gain places in the standings, so it’s up to us to do everything for it, even if it won’t be easy. You have to take as many points as possible before the break.

The draw for the Coupe de France against the Red Star
It will be a pleasure for me to return to the Paris region and play against the Red Star, whom I have faced several times as a youngster. Playing at the Bauer stadium is not a piece of fun with the atmosphere there is, so it will be up to us to respect and show our superiority to move on to the next round.
