Sweden expansion for LEVC | Midlands Manufacturing News
The electric vehicle manufacturer LEVC, headquartered in Coventry, has appointed its first dealer partner in southern Sweden.
The dealer Lilja’s Cars will be the new home for TX and VN5 and support LEVC sales in Kalmar and Växjö.
Anna Wansland, Vice President of Liljas Group, said: “LEVC and Liljas share many values. Both our companies come from a history that goes back almost as far as the car itself. With that said, we both always strive to remain innovative and relevant.
“Therefore, our collaboration felt very natural from the beginning. We look forward to presenting LEVC to our customers who like that really classic look but who still love technology and innovation.”
Joerg Hofmann, CEO of LEVC, added: “The continuous growth of our industry-leading products and technologies into new markets across Europe is a very exciting time for LEVC.
“I am extremely pleased to announce another partnership and welcome two new LEVC homes in Sweden. As a European leader in electric vehicles and sustainability, Sweden will be a fantastic place for the future of our products.”
Lilja’s Cars will provide full sales and service support for LEVC’s TX electric taxi and VN5 electric van, which began production at the company’s manufacturing facility in Ansty, Coventry, at the end of last year.
Oscar Cullberg, CEO of Lilja’s Cars, said: “We have already seen a gigantic interest in the VN5 with its enormous cargo space, short turning radius and high comfort.
“When it comes to EV transports of this size, you usually do not get all three.”
