During a demonstration by so-called lateral thinkers in Munich, the police found dozens of violations of the current Corona rules and numerous participants. According to the police, up to 1000 people gathered on Sunday afternoon to protest in the old town against the stricter Corona protective measures and against compulsory vaccinations.
The district administration department had approved the demonstration, but on the condition that the participants should always wear an FFP2 mask. But many “lateral thinkers” did not see this.
Even at the beginning of the meeting around 1 p.m., the police had to repeatedly point out the need to wear a mask via loudspeaker announcements. An “overwhelming majority of those attending the meeting” had a “negative attitude” towards this requirement, i.e. the police. Before long, many participants began to constantly take their masks on and off or to purposely wear them incorrectly. The emergency services tried to act as a “moderator”, but that didn’t always help: More than 30 particularly recalcitrant mask refusers finally got a complaint.
In some cases, additional investigations were initiated, for example because of falsified health certificates. Three particularly “uncooperative” demonstrators were given a seat, and according to the police, they resisted the emergency services.
