Lachnit: Prague 5a for 2022 discounted swimming for seniors in Barrandov
29.11.2021 8:36 | Press Release
The project of discounted swimming for seniors in the Barrandov Aquapark continues in 2022. Unfortunately, the sharp rise in energy prices forced the aquapark operators to increase their swimming prices next year. The increase was therefore reflected in favor of preferential swimming for seniors from the Prague 5 district in 2022.
As part of the project “Swimming for seniors at a discounted entrance fee”, organized under the auspices of the Prague 5 City Council JUDr. Petr Lachnit, our fellow citizens over the age of 60 with a permanent residence in the city district of Prague 5 will continue. Even in 2022, every Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 1 pm to 3 pm in the Aquapark Barrandov, seniors will pay 75 crowns for 100 minutes of swimming from 1 January 2022.
The benefit of this ongoing project is the support of the active life of seniors, which enables affordable sports activities and relaxation. The participants also establish new contacts and friendships with other seniors, which in some cases can lead to the removal or reduction of feelings of isolation.
“Prague 5 is a modern and constantly evolving city district that strives to create a variety of leisure activities for all ages. The number of seniors in our part of the city has been growing for a long time, which is why we want to expand the range of these services for them. And swimming is a sport and relaxation activity that can be practiced at almost any age, “added JUDr. Petr Lachnit.
Already issued season tickets are valid for the year 2022. Seniors who have not yet picked up a season ticket for swimming in Aquapark Barrandov, can pick it up completely free of charge on the 2nd floor of the city office building on the square 14. října 4, every Monday and Wednesday from 8 by 6 pm in office No. 213.
