Eklo will open three hotels in Toulouse, Lyon and Roissy in 2022
The Eklo group intends to make a place for itself in the urban hotel industry with its offer that is both economical and ecological – with eco-designed buildings, low-consumption operation, short circuits and waste reduction, among other things – all also driven by a design and lifestyle spirit. From six addresses to date – in Bordeaux, Clermont-Ferrand, Le Havre, Le Mans, Lille and Marne-La-Vallée – the offer will increase to nine establishments by the end of next year with openings expected in Lyon, Toulouse and Roissy. Announced last year, these projects are now taking more shape.
It is next April that an Eklo will appear In Toulouse, part of the development of the Cartoucherie eco-district. The ecological dimension of the brand will be widely demonstrated, since the hotel takes place in a wooden tower, the Wood’Art tower, 76 meters high. Easily accessible by tram line 1, the Eklo Toulouse will offer 100 rooms and large common areas. An open living space which will also host a bar and a restaurant as well as a shared kitchen.
Later in the year, in the fourth quarter, the brand will take root In Lyon, again in a rapidly evolving district, that of Grand Parilly. Located in the 8th arrondissement, at the junction of Lyon and Vénissieux, this urban project integrates housing and offices, shops and of course, vast green spaces and a green corridor crossing the neighborhood. It is in this fashionable environment that Eklo Lyon offers 110 rooms for a hotel intended for tourists as well as business travelers with its meeting rooms and accessibility. Served by metro D and tram line 4, the district is in fact linked to the Lyon Part-Dieu station in about fifteen minutes.
Also at the end of 2022, Eklo will offer a hotel also targeting business customers, since it is located ten minutes from Paris CDG airport, but also the Parc des Expositions de Villepinte. With its 150 rooms, meeting rooms and restaurant with terrace, the establishment is a low-cost base between two planes or during a trade fair organized in Villepinte. Located in the ZAC Roissy Sud, this new construction benefits from the latest standards in terms of eco-responsibility, classified A for its environmental impact and in particular photovoltaic panels for electrical self-sufficiency.
These projects contribute to the ambitions of a group which plans to achieve a portfolio ofaround forty hotels in the next 10 years primarily targeting the main French metropolises. Several new Eklo are already in the works with an establishment expected in Montpellier in 2023 and two more in the Paris region in 2024, including one near the Porte de Versailles.
