At the end of November, “Red Box” arrived Association Against Violence “Casa Marioarei”, which offers free assistance, accommodation and rehabilitation, safety and support to women who have suffered from domestic violence and their children in different parts of the country.
In addition to the speaker with products donated to Viorica Hagagg and the NorocOlanda – HelloNetherlands Association, a training was provided by gynecologist Cristina Ipati.
“The menstrual period is a real challenge for girls and women in the Republic of Moldova. No matter what happens in the country, we must insist that institutions be provided with absorbents. Precisely because menstruation continues to happen monthly “, the initiator of the project, Doina Cetulean, previously pointed out for ZdG.
Red Box was launched in the UK and the Cica Initiative Project, which aims to provide women with personal hygiene items during menstruation in educational institutions. Currently, the project is implemented in over 50 countries. In some objects, to obtain this initiative, to succeed in getting the Government to endow from budgetary sources the endowment of educational institutions with the full spectrum of action for the personal hygiene of women during menstruation.
Every year, on May 28, Menstrual Hygiene Day is marked, in order to help raise awareness of the fundamental role that good menstrual hygiene management plays in allowing women and girls to reach their full potential.
