In Verona queues for the Christmas markets and exhausted parking spaces.
Crowd since the morning at the Christmas markets of Verona: already from 11 an interminable queue, beyond the Domus Mercatorum and across the whole of Piazza Erbe to be able to enter between the stalls of Piazza Dante and the Nuremberg market. The attendance count system transmitted by the Municipality blocks accesses after a certain number. All car parks are also sold out: Arsenale, piazza Isolo, Arena and Cittadella already full at noon, P3 parking in viale del Lavoro with shuttle service to the center.
Code already from mid-morning also in via Cappello to be able to visit Juliet’s house. Many, in the center, the Veronese and tourists wearing a mask, which at the moment is mandatory only inside the spaces reserved for the markets. In recent days, however, the mayor Federico Sboarina himself had made no secret of wanting to underestimate the obligation to use the mask also in other areas of the city center, those taken by storm in these days and in view of the holidays.
