Again big demo against CoV politics

Demonstrators have been on the road again in the city of Salzburg since Sunday noon. They protest against the lockdown, the political measures in the CoV crisis and against the upcoming vaccination requirement. The police speak of around 3,500 participants.
According to eyewitnesses, passers-by and observing journalists, the demonstration was peaceful, speakers and participants calmly express their opinions. in part, their displeasure with the mass media and their reporting or comments could be expressed aggressively.
A police spokeswoman said there were a few reports of not wearing the FFP2 mask and property damage. A pane of glass broke, but details and the amount of damage were still unknown on Sunday evening.
Demo also on Saturday
The organizers of the citizens’ initiative “Salzburg wakes up” again spoke of a “walk together” through Salzburg’s city center. There was also a rally organized by the vaccination skeptics party MFG on Kapitelplatz with around 1,200 participants.
The route led from Mozartplatz over the quay and back over the Staatsbrücke, Hanusch-Platz, Bürgerspitalplatz and back to the starting point with a final rally.
Already on Saturday people demonstrated against the Corona measures in downtown Salzburg. According to APA (Austria Press Agency), however, a low number compared to Sunday. At the train station there were around 120 on Saturday and around 70 in the city center. Last weekend there was also a large demonstration.
