A spiral with 21.5 kilos of heroin was dismantled in Athens
More than 21.5 kilos of heroin were found in the possession of members of a criminal drug trafficking organization, which supplied significant quantities of small children in the Attica area and mainly traffickers in the center of Athens and was expelled by the Drug Prosecution Sub-Directorate of the Attica Security Directorate. Yesterday (27-11-2021) at noon, after an organized police operation in Kypseli and Galatsi, three foreigners of Albanian nationality (two men 33 and 36 years old and a 60-year-old woman), members of the organization, were arrested. A case was filed against them for the – where appropriate – offenses, criminal organization and forgery and violations of the legislation on addictive substances and weapons. As part of the search of the area, a fully equipped laboratory for falsification and prototyping of heroin was used in the house of Galatsi, which used the organization. As for the roles of those arrested, according to the Police, the 33-year-old is said to be the leader, the 36-year-old was a drug dealer and in charge of guarding the money and the 60-year-old was in charge of guarding the laboratory.
From the investigations carried out, a total of:
-a quantity of heroin weighing 21 kilos and 530 grams
– revolver and 11 cartridges
-13,520 euros and 30,000 Albanian lek
-2 I.X.E. cars
-Ι.Χ. truck
-2 electronic precision scales
-7 mobile phones
-complete drug laboratory equipment (press, stirrers, etc.)
The arrested, with the case file against them, were taken to the competent Prosecutor.
