Work on the T2 Tram’bus line begins on the road from Avignon to Nîmes
The second phase of work on the T2 Tram’bus line continues in Nîmes with news from Monday 29 from Pont-de-Justice to Paloma. Work is starting in particular on the road to Avignon and the rue Jacques Baby.
From November 29 to February 8, 2022, the tilting work area on the shopping side over the entire part west of the entrance to the cemetery, from the Observance Bridge to the entrance to the cemetery. On the rest of the Avignon road, the site right-of-way is in the middle of the road (from the entrance to the cemetery to the Rotary Centennial Roundabout). Traffic is therefore on the cemetery side from the city center to the entrance to the cemetery and on the shops side of the cemetery at the Rotary centenary roundabout. It is maintained in both directions on the whole road to Avignon.
The tilting site on the north side on boulevard Talabot also this Monday. Two-way traffic will be on the railway side until March 2022.
Work will also start from November 29, 2021 between rue Jacques Baby and the impasse du Clos des Coutelles with the construction of sidewalks and roadways on the even side. The Courbessac road is a one-way street.
