NMBS temporarily cancels ten P trains to and from Brussels due to staff shortages
(Belga) Railway company NMBS is forced to temporarily cancel ten peak hour trains to and from Brussels because more employees are absent due to illness or have to be quarantined. The railway company reported this on Saturday. The measure will take effect on Monday.
“Due to the evolution of the pandemic and the increasing number of infections, SNCB is becoming an increasingly faster disease or quarantined work. This is especially true when the staff works at home,” it sounds. The NMBS has taken to consider the consequences of the problem for passengers, but that does not alter the fact that several train journeys have to be canceled every day, the transport company notes. In order to avoid as much as possible, it has been decided to temporarily cut the train supply, until all trains run. (Belgium)
