All eyes are on Berlin. We see a model for unprecedented coalitions and interesting parallels with the situation in our country. That’s what he said Prof. Anna Krasteva, political scientist, in the show Club Investor on Bloomberg TV Bulgaria with host Ivaylo Lakov. To a large extent, it depends on Berlin where Europe will go.
“Exactly a century ago in 1924, the first traffic light was opened in Berlin, Germany. Everyone is wondering if it will work. Now, a hundred years later, everyone is wondering if this unprecedented coalition between Democrats, Liberals and Greens will work. A century ago, technological innovation was introduced, and now – political. ”
“The big question for Germany is how to start a new era after a big era – the Merkel era,” she said. “It starts with innovation, with great ambition, with self-confidence and a great deal of acceptance. It is important to see that after exceptional successes in Germany, one of the pillars of the EU has a desire for change and bright demands in different directions. One is literally a homage to the extraordinary youth activity that is rewriting the political agenda in Europe.
Asked whether a parallel could be drawn between the situation in Germany and Bulgaria, Krasteva said: “The smell of the 21st century at home. The smell of a digital society, of transparency, of a new kind of politics. sacks, which offends us aesthetically, except that it does not return politically, to drawers, to guns in bedrooms … All this takes us back to some archaic times. This is the first parallel – Germany is powerful in the XXI century and we are starting to live there “.
“I am more optimistic about forming a government in Bulgaria. In very few countries, all negotiations are broadcast live. Because before we were used to satisfaction, without transparency, now we go to the other extreme … The aim is to quickly enter an era without this is definitely the best style. “
Will there be an oiling of German politics? What is the “exclusive supply” of the German economy? What are the political dilemmas surrounding Nord Stream II? What are the great benefits of making e-government in Bulgaria? Will the Green Deal be included in that glue that will unite Europe again? Will there be a compulsory vaccination following the example of Austria? Do you use the migration card to trigger custom crises?
