The recovery against Avignon for Limoux XIII
If the XIII Limouxin was at rest for three weeks, the other Treizist sections of the Blanquetière city took the opportunity to take center stage.
Hervé Guiraud tournament
First of all, the famous Hervé-Guiraud tournament, which has become an essential and permanent event within the federation. This time again, nearly four hundred young people set foot on the pitch, with perfect organization which delighted all the teams that took part. The trio of presidents, Édith Gonella, Geoffrey Albertus and David Denat, surrounded by all the volunteers from the youth section, made the Hervé-Guiraud tournament a great success.
The alumni have also shown their loyalty to this meeting and a hundred friends of Hervé attended the meal at the clubhouse, masterfully served by the supporters’ club with a sarsuela worthy of the greatest chefs. A meal during the presence of Coco, Élodie and Santy, Didier, Yves and Jean-Marc Guiraud moved the participants, among whom could also note, those of the Catalans Roger Palisse and Pierre Vandôme.
Pomas and Razès
The men of President Jean-Louis Ramel did not tremble on their lawn at Breil de Pomas, facing the tough Catalans of Salses (26-21) who gave them a hard time. But the 100% at the foot of Greg Mayans, four conversions and a penalty, allowed the Eagles to remain undefeated to this day. A very prolific day also with in particular a meal before the match which brought together 140 people.
As for the MJC du Razès, it continues its apprenticeship in Federal and, even if it logically inclined on its lawn of Belvèze, facing Val-d’Orbieu (14-42), it showed with three tries at the key that automatisms begin to take shape.
Avignon at the Aiguille
For their part, the men of Maxime Grésèque will take back the collar next Sunday at l’Aiguille, with reception in Avignon after a three-week hiatus. A long interruption that will again require readjusting to find automatisms, facing the Bisons du Vaucluse who come out of two big performances, a victory in Villeneuve (19-12) and a big box against the Dragounnets (42-6) . A beautiful poster therefore which will allow the Toulouse international Bastien Ader to make his debut in red and black.
