Temporary increase of special waste from San Marino to the Tavullia landfill. Vitri: “Wrong resolution”
PESARO – More special waste they will pass through the province of Pesaro. To announce it it is the regional councilor Micaela Vitri who criticizes the resolution of the Acquaroli junta.
«For the first time in the Marche he comes the delivery of the quantity of special waste has increased produced in the Republic of San Marino: fifteen trucks, or 2,400 t / y of special waste more than in previous years arriving at the Ca ‘Asprete di Tavullia landfill. All to be disposed of in December. This is the resolution of the Acquaroli Council, signed on October 18, 2021, on the proposal of Councilor Aguzzi, discussed yesterday in the Third Environment Commission, of which I am a member ».
This is a resolution that provides for an additional agreement to the one already signed in 2013 between the Spacca junta and the Republic of San Marino, drawn up in accordance with the European and national sector regulations and ratified by the Regional Council. «Recognizing the importance of inter-regional relations and also the exceptional nature of the resolution, I believe however increase the delivery in our wrong landfills and I am stunned by the contradictory attitude of the Acquaroli junta, which continues to preach good and scratch badly. On the one hand, in the Council we all unanimously vote on a motion against the possible request, currently non-existent, for a landfill in the other Montefeltro, while on the other, a resolution already passed by Aguzzi and Acquaroli arrives “under the table” in the Environment Commission due to the increase in special waste arriving from a San Marino paper mill.
In detail, it goes from 3,100 t / a to 5,500 t / a for special waste destined for disposal, to be evaluated also from 5,000 t / a (tons per year) to 30,000 t / a for special waste destined for recovery. In the interest of the territory, in order to avoid dangerous precedents, I will not vote on this proposal to increase waste ”.
