Telework, mask, PCR test … Monaco strengthens its health system from Monday, here are the first announcements
More than a hundred new positive cases for Covid-19 have been revealed over the last three days in Monaco.
A record was even reached on Tuesday with 45 cases revealed on a single day. A first since the arrival of the virus in March 2020.
Unsurprisingly, the Monegasque government has therefore convened the press this Friday (conference in progress) to announce new health measures to counter the 5th wave which crosses Europe.
From this Saturday, November 27, the wearing of a mask becomes mandatory outdoors “at all times and everywhere on the territory of the Principality”.
This is what will change from Monday November 29 and in effect until December 20 minimum :
Telework
and test the PCR
- The validity of PRC tests goes from 72 hours to 24 hours (as in France)
- Remote work is “very strongly recommended in the private and public sectors”
Bars, restaurant
and glasses
- Everyone must present their health pass to consume indoors and on the terrace, including 16-18 year olds.
- The sanitary pass is required to access theaters and congresses “as soon as there are more than 300 people”. These include the Opera, the Princess Grace Theater and the halls of the Grimaldi Forum.
- Suspension of standing cocktails and all standing drinks in bars and restaurants
- Suspension of dance and karaoke activities
schools and sports practice
- Wearing a mask is compulsory for indoor sports (except for competitions) and for school sports
- School swimming lessons are suspended.
- The practice of combat and contact sports is suspended.
