Russian language as a factor in the development of the Russian-Uzbek dialogue
Strengthening all-round ties with the CIS countries is the cornerstone of our state’s policy. One of the important steps in this direction will be the International Round Table “Russian language as a factor in the development of the Russian-Uzbek dialogue”, which will be held on November 29 in Tashkent.
The relevance of holding a desktop is due to the strengthening of contacts between state institutions of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Uzbekistan, academic interaction of scientific organizations and universities, joint projects of public organizations, activation of business partnership between the two countries.
In this regard, the question of means and channels of communication, including language, inevitably arises. Issues such as the current state of the Russian language in Uzbekistan, teaching Russian as a foreign language, prospects for cooperation between universities in Russia and Uzbekistan will be considered.
Representatives of universities of two cities – Chirchik and Tomsk – took part in round examples.
The organizer of the International Round Table is National Research University of Uzbekistan named after Mirzo Ulugbek, National Research Tomsk State University, expert club “Siberia-Eurasia”. The moderator of the Russian side will be Sergei Yun, Head of the Department of World Politics, Faculty of Political Science, Tomsk State University.
