The appeal has been bouncing for a few days on social networks, especially the most popular ones from the extreme right close to Forza Nuova. It is an “invitation” signed “We are the people” with the Tricolor in the background and a photo of the many lights lit last Saturday by the four thousand of the Circus Maximus. This was enough to trigger the alert at the police station where no request for authorization from the square in this regard was presented. The Trastevere area will therefore be monitored by the police, since it worries, if nothing else, the proximity to the Ministry of Health even if, from the first reports, large numbers would not seem to be expected. The meeting will also be an opportunity to return to ask for freedom for the Forzanovisti ended up in prison after the assault on the CGIL and the street clashes on 9 October last. Banners in favor of Giuliano Castellino, the Roman leader of Fn, and of the Roman “pasionaria” Pamela Testa, also in the prison of Naples, had already appeared in other Saturday No pass protests in Rome. “Let’s change music, let’s follow the Dutch model” the rumor on the chats fighting that No Passto a “health dictatorship”, with announcements to recent clashes of the demonstrations in Rotterdam. The appeals yesterday also bounced around the net continuously: «Everyone prepared for tomorrow? The fury spreads ».

THE STANDARDS
Today, large numbers will be on the road for the “Non una di less” march against male and gender violence. A long snake of women and more (up to fifty thousand people are expected) will move at 2 pm from Piazza della Repubblica to Piazza Porta San Giovanni, passing through viale Einaudi, via Cavour, piazza dell’Esquilino, via Liberiana, via Merulana, via dello Statuto, piazza Vittorio Emanuele II and via Emanuele Filiberto. Precisely due to the high number of participants, from 3 pm the Police Headquarters has ordered the closure of the “San Giovanni” metro station and particular attention will be given – as requested at the table of the committee for safety and public order in the prefecture – to respect the anti covid rules, especially the use of masks. In addition, there will be barriers in via Nazionale, via Liberiana and in piazza Porta San Giovanni. The demonstration will end at 20.
Some sit-ins were also announced during the day. At 10 am CGIL, CISL and UIL will preside over Piazza Santi Apostoli to protest against the financial maneuver of Palazzo Chigi. At the same time, the Feminist and LGBT Coordination demonstrates against violence against women and in front of the Farnesina, a meeting of the Bengali community in dissent with its own government.
