The Christmas Factory, the favorite Christmas village of young and old, returns to the Technopolis of the Municipality of Athens, in the heart of the city, marking the beginning of the most beautiful season of the year.
From tomorrow, Saturday 27 November 2021 to 6 January 2022, opens its gates, with Santa Claus and the elves, getting ready to welcome them in a festive atmosphere, in a specially designed space that this year welcomes with all the protection measures,
A beautiful Christmas carousel, the brightest wheel in Athens, the Workshop of Mrs. Vasilina where every child who writes his letter and gives it personally to Santa Claus, the classic Face-painting Workshop where children will paint the face and their mask with harmless, ecological colors but also many more actions that will give everyone a little of the magic of Christmas.
The President of the Technopolis of the Municipality of Athens, Mr. Konstantinos Dedes, speaking in Athens 9.84 and Margarita Mytilineou, did not hide his joy for this great celebration.
“We are happy to have the Christmas Factory this year in the Technopolis of the Municipality of Athens. It was missed by us and the world. “
As he said, “Women will have the opportunity to enjoy -among other things- an open-air Christmas market with 15 more restaurants and 30 shops with every reasonable offer for gifts for our loved ones, as well as activities for children, musical and theatrical performances, happenings and lots of games. “
Also this year, tMake-a-Wish wish lanterns will give their own color in the Christmas village, illuminating the sky above the Technopolis of the Municipality of Athens.
The cost of each lantern amounts to € 2 and the total revenue available to Make-a-Wish, in an effort to strengthen its effort to make even more young children ‘s wishes come true.
“The Lanterns of Wishes, is a way to replace the route we did in previous years with Make-a-Wish, walking all by hand, from Technopolis, from Cristmas Factory to the center of Athens to support children . This time, due to the pandemic, we can not do to avoid overcrowding. It’s a symbolic move until we walk this path again. “
He clarified that due to the special conditions of the pandemic, entry is allowed only to vaccinated and nurses.
