IN IMAGES – 553,000 light bulbs and giant trees: Toulouse shines in Christmas colors

At just four weeks before Christmas, the city of Toulouse lit up in the colors of the end of the year holidays this Friday, November 26. In all, 553,000 light bulbs came on at nightfall, installed on garlands along the Allées Jean-Jaurès or the rue d’Alsace Lorraine and on the six giant fir trees installed in particular on the Place Saint Etienne, Joan of Arc or even Saint Georges. Budget devoted this year to decorations: 700,000 euros.
