On November 23, 2021, Education and Science of Ukraine and the IT company ERAM Ukraine signed a memorandum on participation in the development of educational technologies, which the Ministry of Knowledge, improving the quality of education through the use of digital solutions, as well as participation in education and science reform.
“Every day we work to make the educational environment modern and digital. Today it is difficult to imagine the implementation of many processes and tasks without a modern gadget, education is no exception. We have already created laptops for school teachers as part of the “Every Teacher’s Laptop” project. However, we do not stop at these opportunities and are constantly looking for partners, socially responsible business that can get help in schools and education. We are grateful to ERAM Ukraine for its readiness to support the digital transformation of education, – High Representative for Digital Development, Digital Transformations and Digitization Artur Seletsky.
At the beginning of the year, the State Service for Education Quality conducted an online survey on the organization of distance learning at school in the 2020/2021 school year:
- 22% of respondents noted the low quality of Internet communication as an obstacle to the educational process;
- 8.8% of parents stated that they did not have a computer;
- 53% of teachers surveyed reported technical problems.

Every year EPAM invests in the development of education, supports partnership projects and creates its own. Responding to the challenges of time, the rapid transition to distance learning, we must help Ukraine’s education system to be modern, in particular through the use of digital tools and solutions. And also to make sure that these tools are available for all participants in the educational process. “ – Serhiy Rozhok, Executive Executive Director of ERAM Ukraine.
The EPAM support project will help with technically equipped schools in areas where there is a representative company. The first batch is aimed at the needs of schools in Khmelnytsky region, by the end of the year up to 100 units of computer equipment will be transferred to rural schools. Caritas Ukraine to act as a partner in the transfer of equipment.
The transfer of computer equipment to secondary schools will work through local organizations of the Caritas network in Ukraine.
