AS Monaco says no to violence against women
On the occasion of the International Day for Combating Violence Against Women, the Club participated in the #UnMurPourElles campaign set up by the LFP, and supported the actions launched by the Women’s Rights Committee of the Principality of Monegasque.
International Day for Combating Violence Against Women, November 25 is an important date for combating a scourge that affects more than 22,000 women in France every year.
AS Monaco thus participated in the #UnMurPourElles campaign, launched by the Professional Football League, aimed at uniting the entire football ecosystem by erecting a symbolic wall against violence against women. Sofiane Diop, Strahinja Pavlovic and Ruben Aguilar have thus formed a 100% Monegasque wall on the lawns of La Turbie.
At the same time, and in line with the strong relationship uniting the two entities, AS Monaco invited a delegation from the Women’s Rights Committee, including Céline Cottalorda, Interministerial Delegate for Women’s Rights, to the meeting in front of the Real Sociedad, this Thursday evening.
The CDDFM is mobilized on a daily basis in the Principality to warn about gender violence and a few days ago unveiled its action plan for this year’s campaign.
