Vlahovic reveals the dialogue he had with CR7 at the end of Portugal x Serbia
JIt’s been a few days since Portugal succumbed to Serbia and, consequently, was relegated to the play-off for access to the Mundial’2022.
In the end of the match, at Estádio da Luz, it was possible to see Fiorentina striker Dusan Vlahovic talking to Cristiano Ronaldo. In an interview with the Serbian portal Telegraf, the 21-year-old footballer revealed the content of the dialogue.
“My father used to tell me: after every game, win or lose, to congratulate all my opponents and the referee,” began by saying Vlahovic.
“I still do it today. At that moment I went to see him [Ronaldo], understandably he was very nervous and angry. The only thing he told me was that the goal in the first game, in Belgrade, was cool [em referência à bola que atravessou a linha de golo no último lance da partida], and that maybe it ruined everything. I wished him good luck in the playoffs and told him that they will pass because they have one of the best players in the world,” added the Serbian striker.
