The first 14 acts of the Melodifestivalen 2022 will be announced on Friday
It’s not long ago! On Friday, November 26, we will learn the names of them first 14 acts competes in Melodifestivalen 2022. In the Melfest tradition, fans will also learn the titles of the songs each artist will sing in February.
Program host Oscar Zia confirmed the news on Melodifestivalen’s official Instagram account and shared his excitement ahead of the first big announcement of Melfest 2022.
While the artists and their song titles are revealed on Friday, fans will have to wait until February to hear the competing songs in the Swedish national final 2022.
Previously, all 28 competing Mello acts were announced at an event. But last year – due to pandemic precautions – the artists were split into three days. This year, it seems to have been divided into two groups – however, SVT has not yet confirmed when the rest of the Melfest 2022 acts will be announced.
Melodifestivalen 2022: What we know so far
The Melodifestivalen’s tour is intended to return in 2022. The semi-finals will take place in Malmö on 5 February 2022, and the grand final will take place in its usual home at Friends Arena in Stockholm on 12 March. The shows – which will take place in six cities and towns around Sweden – will also have a live audience.
Melfest 2022 will be the host Oscar Zia. The triple Melodifestivalen participant and one of the hosts in 2021 will be the main host this season, but he will also be joined by other stars who have not yet been named.
According to Aftonbladet, we already know 14 acts for the Melodifestivalen 2022. They are Robin Bengtsson, Liamoo, Klara Hammarström, Alvaro Estrella, Angelino, Lance Hedman, John Lundvik, Malou Prytz, Theoz, Cazzi Opeia, Medina, Anna Bergendhal, Linda Bengtzing and Tenori.
