The end-of-year festivities will be launched at Toulouse this November 26, 2021, with the inauguration of the Christmas market and illuminations. An “enchanted Christmas” which comes with many activities, in the city center but also in the districts of the Pink City.
# 1. The return of the Christmas market …

It will be held at Place du Capitole, from November 26 to December 26, every day from 10:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. and until 10 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays. Some 120 chalets will be installed there over 5000 m², with catering, food, decoration, crafts… Four dedicated chalets are for creators and artisans who follow one another every two days and a solidarity chalet dedicated to associations will be present. There will be four entrances to access the market: you will need to present a valid health pass and submit to bag checks.
Note: the artisanal and solidarity Christmas market Jules-Guesde alleys will be held from December 4 to 19 (health pass imperative here too).
# 2…. with an ice rink

The ice rink is making a comeback Place du Capitole. It was last installed in 2018: 11,000 people put on the skates to glide gracefully. For this 2021 edition, an ice rink of 200 m² has been installed with a glacier carpet developed according to the The world of ice, sold as the least energy consuming currently. It will be necessary to pay 5 euros for 45 minutes of skiing, the location of the pads includes. Note, the colorful little train is once again present at Place du Capitole, in the immediate vicinity of the ice rink.
# 3. A trip to the land of Santa Claus
To make this trip, it will be necessary to go square Charles-de-Gaulle, just behind the Capitol. A brand new installation with original sets but also entertainment and shows: ice sculpture, fanfare of Goblins crétins, parade of waders and various workshops will be regularly offered. It is free and you will have to present a valid health pass to be able to access this country of Santa Claus.
# 4. Dancing on the Capitol dungeon and gospel music
No light mapping this year, but a mural dance show in the dungeon of the Capitol. A vertical dance accompanied by a piano-voice duo. Do not miss the gospel choir who will regularly sing well-known Christmas carols. The program and times of the shows will be communicated on the town hall website.
# 5. Greeting forest, photo with Santa Claus and merry-go-round
These are Christmas classics from square Charles-de-Gaulle, a Toulouse and they still have their little success. This year again, the youngest can hang their wishes on trees, have their picture taken with Santa Claus or lose their mind on the Christmas tree carousel which will be installed on rue d’Alsace-Lorraine, from November 26 to January 9, 2021.
# 6. Entertainment in the neighborhoods too
Many activities are planned in the districts of Toulouse from December 4 to 22: storytelling night, lantern march, children’s shows, cinema screenings, exhibitions. Discover the full program on the site and the social networks of the town hall of Toulouse.
