Olivier Slosse becomes new chief of police Brussels-North
Olivier Slosse becomes the new chief of police of the Brussels-North police zone. This has been decided by the police council of Schaerbeek, Evere and Sint-Joost-ten-Node. Slosse was a member of the management team of the Brussels-Capital-Ixelles police zone and was also appointed for that zone.
Slosse, who is currently part of the Brussels-Capital-Ixelles police zone, came out on top in the exams. So his cards were the best.
He passed in Tuesday’s police council vote with an overwhelming majority of Benoît Blanpain, who was considered the candidate of the realization but scores less well on the exam. Blanpain was the right-hand man of Frédéric Dauphin, the chief constable of the Brussels-North zone who moved to the General Inspectorate in May.
Olivier Slosse was born and raised in Brussels. He works as a psychologist at the VUB. He has worked for the police since 1995, the later twenty years within the Brussels-Capital-Elsen police zone. For the past five years he has been one of its words. He also played an important role in the establishment of the Care Center after Sexual Violence. In addition to being a police officer, Slosse is also a painter.
Slosse indicates in a press release that he wants to get a better view of different types of criminals. “I’m still running businesses by giving a violent effect. It’s a personal motivation: only in this way can we receive as local police, when we are there for the people who want security, who want recognition as victims.”
