No more cases of infection have ever been registered in Norway in one month
The case is being updated.
This is the only month in the pandemic that more than 30,000 cases of infection have been registered, reports P4.
– I think that was expected when society opened up. The question is whether the health service has the capacity to handle it, says Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Støre (Labor) to the channel.
Before the coronary vaccine, infection rates were a significant disease and many hospitalizations, but that is not the case now, according to Støre.
November was the month with the most infection also in 2020, with 15,488 cases. There have been high infection rates for several months this year. In March, 24,865 cases were registered, and in September 27,956.
– We still have to work to keep the beat down. It is about measures in municipalities, about the bandage, distance or other restrictions, and staying at home when we are sick. And then we have the corona certificate which can make it possible to facilitate a number of measures where necessary, says Støre.
So far this year, 192,700 cases of coronary heart disease have been reported in Norway. In the whole of last year, 50,211 cases were reported.
