Falsara, the Casentino filly in the shop window in Verona – Chronicle

Falsara del Barbaresco, this is the name of the Casentino filly who enchanted Verona. In fact, recently the little mare born in April in Strada in Casentino took part in the Cavalli Fair, the most important equestrian event in Italy, together with its breeders Luca Pacchiani and Alessia Tognarini. Here Falsara was chosen by the jury of the Mipaaf national championship, organized by the ministry of agricultural and forestry policies, as the best of the foals, the identifying category for horses born less than a year old. An important result that rewards the commitment and passion of two young people.
“We went to Verona after a selection we made in interregional Arezzo – says Luca – and we managed to win this important title at national level. Seeing Falsara win in a national event was a great satisfaction”. An important recognition not only for the Municipality of Castel San Niccolò but for the whole Casentino since Falsara is the only example of the territory that has managed to reach this goal. “I am very proud that two young boys nurture a family passion – says the mayor Antonio Fani – that they impregnate themselves and invest part of their time in an activity that is not very common for the younger generations, with high-level results”.
