Fall 1: On Monday, November 22nd, 2021, around 2:30 a.m., a 27-year-old resident in Munich was woken up by noises at an entrance door to his family home. When he went to the door, he could see a previously unknown perpetrator trying to open the door. The perpetrator shines a flashlight in his face and was able to escape undetected. The 27-year-old reported on the following day.

Fall 2:
On Monday, November 22nd, 2021, from 8:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., one or more previously unknown perpetrators broke into an apartment on the ground floor in Nymphenburg. The perpetrators forcibly pried open the terrace door and stole tens of thousands of euros in the form of jewelry and cash from the apartment.

Fall 3:
On Monday, November 22nd, 2021, from 6:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., one or more previously unknown perpetrators broke into an apartment in Stockdorf. The perpetrators pried open a patio door.
The owner could still find the unknown perpetrators in the building. When she called the police, the perpetrators managed to escape from the house. An immediately initiated manhunt did not result in the arrest of the perpetrators.

The commissioner’s office 53 took over the investigations in all three cases.
