Description: Jan Chabr

The capital is the owner of a late Baroque country church, which is located in the very center of the town of Pavlíkov in the Rakovník district in the Central Bohemian Region. It is a built-up area of the courtyard with an area of 360 square meters. Previously, the church served as the depository of the Capital City Gallery. m of Prague, but today it is empty and unused. Due to the fact that its capital city of Prague was evaluated as its unnecessary property, today the City Council decided. m of Prague on its gratuitous transfer.

“The construction of the church is in poor technical condition and requires reconstruction. There was a long discussion in the property committee about how to deal with the church, because it is a necessary property for the city. There were thoughts of selling it at auction. However, I am very glad that we decided to make a donation to the village of Pavlíkov. We ourselves in the center of Prague have examples from the past, when churches were sold, the city did not use the possible purchase and the churches became, for example, a brothel, “says Jan Chabr, councilor for property management.

In July this year, the management of the town of Pavlíkov provided interest in the gratuitous transfer of the property. The only condition of the capital is that the city will not be entitled to transfer the building to another owner for the next 50 years without the prior written consent of Prague. The whole plan has yet to be approved at its next meeting. m of Prague.

It was built between 1776 and 1785 on the site of the original cemetery chapel of St. Adalbert from the 14th century. The surrounding land, which lines the church around the entire perimeter, is owned by the town of Pavlíkov.

Rada hl. At Monday’s meeting, the City of Prague also approved the acquisition of real estate for consideration from the ownership of České dráhy in Újezd nad Lesy in the Rohožník housing estate. These are plots of mostly built-up roads, which are the property of the capital, or form plots with public greenery or are of a forest nature.

The total value of these lands, including buildings, is CZK 50.6 million after deducting easements. The purchase price was determined on the basis of an expert opinion.
