The Ynov group inaugurates its new campus in Toulouse dedicated to digital professions

Sugar Mizzy November 22, 2021

The Ynov group has just inaugurated in Toulouse, this Friday, November 19, its new Toulouse Ynov Campus. “This is the third Toulouse address that the Toulouse Ynov Campus offers itself successively, since its initial establishment in 2011, with each time a new change of scale to welcome more and more students”, welcomes Damien Hampartzounian, the director of the Toulouse establishment.

In 10 years, the Toulouse establishment has grown from 1,400 m2 to 4,200 m2. In 2011, for its first school year, it welcomed 73 students. At the start of the 2021 school year, the establishment has registered 850 registrants. “Our new users will make it possible to further strengthen the workforce and welcome up to 1,300 students each year within 2 to 3 years”, specifies Damien Hampartzounian.

Training courses dedicated to digital professions
Positioned in post-baccalaureate training, from bac + 2 to bac + 5, the Toulouse Ynov Campus, like all the establishments of the private higher education group Ynov, provides courses in five major digital fields: IT , 2D, 3D animation & video games, creation & design, audiovisual, marketing & digital communication. For the next school year, two new courses are scheduled: interior design and web management.

In recent years, the Ynov group has also been playing the work-study card. In Toulouse, a little over 50% of the school’s students choose this route. A dynamic which has proven itself: the rate of integration into employment at the end of Bac + 5 is 87%, all training combined and it rises to 95% for certain specific titles, particularly in IT.

“The digital professions irrigate all economic sectors. Our establishments are there to support companies in their digital transformation. To be recruited”, underlines Lionel Desage, president of the Ynov group.

New ambitions for medium-sized cities and new audiences
Already established in 7 French cities (Paris, Aix-en Provence, Bordeaux, Lyon, Nantes, Sophia Antipolis and Toulouse), but also in Morocco, Casablanca and Rabat, through partnerships with local schools, the Ynov group, including the head office is based in Mérignac, in Gironde, has already scheduled for the start of the 2022 school year, the opening of 3 new schools in Montpellier, Lille and Rennes.

“At the same time, we are thinking about a new concept of establishment both for medium-sized towns and for new audiences”, confides Lionel Desage, on the sidelines of the inauguration of the new Toulouse campus. The group targets both “dropouts”, with new tailor-made formulas, but also executives looking for retraining and, more broadly, job seekers. “Within 4 to 5 years, our objective is to open between 12 and 15 branches in medium-sized cities, with an offer mainly concentrated on training at bac + 3”, specifies the president of the group of higher education.

The Ynov group, which has a total of 7,300 students in all these establishments and some 350 jobs (not counting the 1,500 professional speakers associated with its courses), achieved a turnover of 54 million euros last year. euros, compared to 42 million euros in 2020 and expects more than 60 million euros for the current financial year.
