In a telephone conversation with Italian Prime Minister Mario Draghi, Russian President Vladimir Putin confirmed Russia’s readiness to supply natural gas to Europe on a long-term basis, including through Nord Stream 2. The Palazzo Chigi also said that Putin and Draghi in their conversation touched upon the situation in Ukraine and on the Belarusian-Polish border. The parties also discussed the dynamics of energy prices.
