‘My Blood Was Boiling,’ Says Maltese Influencer Warning About Poor Judges’ Decisions in Upcoming X Factor Chair Challenges
Maltese influencer Sarah Alfalah struck the judges of X Factor Malta for having one particular image of singers in mind when choosing their representatives in the Six Chair challenges.
“They removed two girls who had a unique, modern voice, which was creating diversity between girls,” Sarah said in an Instagram story following last night’s Six Chair category challenge.
“The remaining six girls are the same but in different forms. Only Lisa, Shauna and Timea stand out – the rest are exactly the same but look different. ”
Yesterday evening’s episode was particularly controversial after judge Ivan Grech decided to eliminate Amber Woods despite her surrender of Demi Lovato’s Sober which won rave reviews from the other three judges. Amber and Sarah are both influential on the popular ClubHouse Europe content creation house.
However, Sarah said she had a similar reaction after seeing the Six Chair challenges for the Boys and Overs live categories as well.
“The only Six Chair challenge I didn’t see was the Group category, but my blood was boiling for all the other categories because now you see throughout the episodes how the judges have a particular image of each category. , which is nasty. . ”
“Now you’ll see how they have an image, which is nasty.”
Sarah also wondered how judges “who did it decades ago” could judge singers ’talents when the music industry has changed so much over the years.
“My opinion is not prejudiced; see you next Sunday for the Overs category. I don’t know anyone in that category but my blood was boiling anyway. You will see; it’s just that Malta is Malta, I think. “
