From Tuesday, the situation on the Debrecen line will return to normal
An interlocking device was soaked last week, so we had to be prepared for delays.
At Kőbánya-Teher station, only minor traffic disruptions apply; on the section between Nyugati railway station and Kőbánya-Kispest, a longer journey time of 5-10 minutes can be expected. From Tuesday, November 23, only Lajosmizse line trains will run on shorter routes in order to prevent congestion and longer delays, Mávinform announced in a statement.
S21 trains only run between Kőbánya-Kispest and Lajosmizse in both directions. Trains leave Kőbánya-Kispest at 33 o’clock, they are not waiting to join. In order to get the Lajosmizse line faster, it is worth traveling with BKK flights on the section between the Western Railway Station and Kőbánya-Kispest. Only those traveling by train from Lajosmizse will accept valid train tickets and passes from Tuesday on the M3 metro at Kőbánya-Kispest and Nagyvárad tér, and at the M3 metro station between Nagyvárad tér and Nyugati railway station.
From Tuesday, all trains running on the Budapest – Cegléd – Szolnok – Debrecen – Záhony and Budapest – Cegléd – Szeged lines will run to and from the Nyugati railway station. The InterCities in Debrecen, Nyíregyháza, Záhony and Szeged also run on the entire route, but the lower Kőbánya lower and the previous surcharge is no longer valid.
As is well known, an interlocking device was soaked at the Kőbánya-Teher station on Tuesday, which caused the disruptions.
