District office: Kathrein market in Kirchheim was not banned – District of Munich
There can be no question of an official ban on the Kathrein market in front of the Räter shopping center (REZ) in Heimstetten on Sunday. In any case, the district office decided on Monday at the request of the SZ, center manager Fritz Humplmayr: “We have never issued a ban of any kind,” said the district office’s press office. And further: A direct telephone contact between the organizer and the specialist authority, as claimed by Humplmayr, did not take place at all last Friday. “We firmly reject the allegations of unlawful rejection,” said the spokeswoman for the authorities.
A cancellation of the Kathrein market by the district office has definitely not taken place. That would not have been possible in this form, as there is currently no corresponding legal basis. It is not until Tuesday that the state parliament is expected to close a ban on any markets in the run-up to Christmas. According to the district office, the organizer’s brother informed the authorities on Friday that the REZ had decided to cancel the market. Fritz Humplmayr himself could not be reached on Monday.
This had claimed via Facebook over the weekend that the market had been banned by telephone despite approval. Humplmayr expressed his support for the measure at short notice in his post, otherwise he complained about the alleged approach of the authority.
