Just one week after the launch of the consultation of the cable transport project between Francheville and Lyon, nearly 400 people gathered this Sunday, November 21, in Sainte-Foy-Lès-Lyon to say no to the cable car that could pass on the town.
Since its announcement almost a year ago, the project to create cable transport between Francheville and Lyon has been a source of passion and division in the West of Lyon. Sytral, received by the elected ecologist Bruno Bernard also president of the Metropolis of Lyon, would like to carry out this project for 2025. A three-month public consultation was therefore launched on Monday, November 15.
About 400 people mobilized
Less than a week later, the association “Don’t touch my sky“, at the forefront of opposition to this project for months, organized a rally this Sunday to say no to the project. According to our journalist present on the spot, about 400 people responded to the collective’s call and are gathering this after – noon at the Parc du Brûlet, in Sainte-Foy-Lès-Lyon.
